Nothing motivates students to push themselves and gain new skills than the prospect of an upcoming dance show. Students love to perform and dress up, and the idea of an upcoming show keeps them engaged, focused and excited.
Which is where Swastik Showcasecomes in. Organised three times a year, these shows give students of all age groups an opportunity to perform on stage and gain experience and confidence.
At Swastik, we believe learning how to dance is just one half of the story, the other half is learning to perform in front of a live audience.
It is common for students – particularly beginners and intermediates – to be nervous. Swastik Showcase is an excellent opportunity for students to overcome that nervousness and gain confidence, in a positive, non-judgemental, non-threatening and encouraging environment.
Swastik Showcase is always held in a professional theatre space, giving our students an opportunity to get accustomed to the stage, lights, music, audience and other aspects of a live show.
It is also a fantastic opportunity for parents to see the progress their children have made.
