Kids
4 - 7 years
Kids, the cute little ones are the pioneers of our future, they are the ones who will shape the world. We know the importance of setting the right foundation from the very beginning and thus we take extreme care in teaching and training kids. In this ever-evolving era, they are the ones who will carry the baton of dance and Indian culture to the coming generations. When they commence their dance journey from such a tender age, they develop good resilience towards dance and can learn with passion for a long time to come as they grow. At Swastik, we offer Kathak, Bollywood, Kathak and Bollywood combo, Bhangra and Bolly-Hip hop classes for Kids.
Juniors
7-10 years
Junior classes are for children aged 7 to 10 years. We offer – Kathak, Bollywood, Kathak & Bollywood, Hip Hop and Bhangra – at three levels – Beginners, Intermediate, and Advance. At this age, disciplining the mind and body of the children takes our primary attention. Once they start listening, observing and interpreting the teachings of their teacher, they start incepting dance at a deeper level; it becomes more than just fun; it starts its transformation towards becoming a life-long skill, which in turn enhances their overall creativity and performance.
Pre-teens & Teens
10 - 17 years
The aim of Swastik to create dancers, teachers, and ambassadors of Indian dance and culture takes fruition with the teens. They are the ones who understand, learn and spread the art among their peers, giving it a place in society and in the hearts of young talent. Pre-teens & Teens classes are for ages 10 years & above. We offer – Kathak, Bollywood, Kathak & Bollywood, Hip Hop and Bhangra – at three levels – Beginners, Intermediate, Advance. For many teens, Kathak and overall dance become more than just a side hobby. We have seen numerous teens become incredible dancers, choreographers and even teachers with their long-term relationship with Swastik.
Adults
18+ years
Adults have a range of options like – Kathak, Bollywood, Bhangra and Zumba. With our busy lives, dance becomes a beautiful retreat. It becomes a time for yourself, where you can leave all the undue stresses of life and just enjoy in the moment, learn something for yourself, do what you love and have a great dance social circle. Kathak for adults – we have several levels for adults Kathak as well – Beginners, Intermediate and Advance. Whether you are an advance student of Kathak since long or are a newbie wanting to learn this dance form the first time, we have a class that suits you. The Kathak classes for adults at Swastik are very well-structured with in-depth sessions of theory and practice. You get a chance to leave behind any inhibitions and perform at our showcase or other external events as well.
